I put this together for my users at work. I thought it might be handy for others out there. I’ve copied the Insight installer files from the EPMSystem folders, and zip them up for my users to download, and uploaded them to another server hosting documentation for the Hyperion migration. It works much faster than waiting on the workspace to download and install the files.
Click Download Insight Plugin 188.8.131.52 for IE8 and IE9
Save the download.
After the download has finished, click Open.
Choose Extract all Files.
Leave the default, and click Extract.
Open the Insight folder in the window that opens up.
Doubleclick setupie to start the installation. Do not use the other setup program.
Make sure all boxes are checked, and click next.
Click OK once the installation has completed.
Go back to http://HYPERIONSERVER and choose Login to New Workspace. The plugin is now installed. Now you can open documents with Interactive Reporting. Continue to the next section configure Internet Explorer.
Configuring Internet Explorer
